Claude's charitable trust The Claude W. Ahrens Charitable Trust was established in 1985 as a private foundation to promote religious and faith-based organizations within central Iowa. The Claude W. Ahrens Charitable Trust is a "sibling" foundation to the Claude W. and Dolly Ahrens Foundation and Ahrens Park Foundation. Grants are made only to organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code and who are not classified as private foundations under section 509(a) of the code.
